I realized I'd stopped thinking when using AI. So I built this.
I'm a solo maker. I built Bubbling because of a habit I noticed in myself.
Every time I asked ChatGPT or Claude something, I'd fire off the question and jump straight to reading the answer — without ever pausing to form my own thought first. Even for things I could easily have worked out on my own. At some point I realized I'd quietly started letting AI think for me. I didn't actually want to stop using AI. I just wanted to stop handing my thinking to it by default.
So my idea started as a question:
What if I had time to think before reading the answer?
What if a short timer decided when the answer appeared — and that gap was mine, to form my own thought first?
So I built it. Now when the answer is about to show up, it stays blurred and a small window opens for me to write down what I actually think. Only after I do does the answer come through. To make that easier, a small persona shows up and helps draw my thinking out.
It works on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok.
Honestly, I'd really love to know whether this way of solving it resonates with you at all — and what frustrates you most when you use AI day to day. When you ask an AI something, do you pause to form your own thought first — or do you just take the answer and keep moving?
Launching here next Friday (July 3). I'd love to hear what you think.
