Hey everyone! I'm Bas, the solo developer behind BrushForge. I'm also a miniature painter myself, and I originally started building BrushForge because I felt the existing apps were all missing something. I wanted a tool that combined everything I actually needed in one place instead of jumping between different apps, spreadsheets, and paint charts. Like most side projects, it quickly grew into something much bigger. Today BrushForge lets you manage your paint collection, convert colors between brands, build palettes, create paint recipes, and a lot more. It's now available on both iOS and Android. I'm a frontend developer by day, and BrushForge has become my passion project over the last year and a half. A lot of what you'll find in the app today came directly from conversations with other painters. People kept suggesting ideas, pointing out pain points, and asking for features, and BrushForge gradually evolved around that feedback. What started as a tool for myself is now used by more than 6,000 miniature painters, which is honestly something I never expected when I started. I'm still actively working on it, and I'd genuinely love to hear what you think. Whether it's a bug, a feature request, or just something that could work better, I'm always listening.
