Hey Product Hunt! šŸ‘‹ I love Gridfinity, but my workflow around it was a mess. Three problems kept coming back: - I kept losing my files. I'd design a box, print it, and then the STL was gone: a different laptop, a cleaned-out Downloads folder. Need one more of the same bin? Start over. - I spent hours on MakerWorld scrolling for inspiration. - Then another day finding models that actually fit my drawer. So I built Boxie to put all of that in one place: 🧩 Simple box generator. Set a few parameters and get your bin. I've tried hard to keep it as simple as possible. šŸ“ A grid made for your drawer. Enter your drawer size and Boxie calculates the grid. Everything renders in real time, so you can see exactly how it fits, down to a stacking-lip box on a magnet baseplate at 8u height. (That combination was a genuinely hard math problem for me šŸ˜…) šŸ” Built-in model library. Smart search through MakerWorld models and drop one onto your grid in one click. It's small for now because I'm asking creators for permission, but it's growing. šŸ’¾ Nothing gets lost. One click downloads all your STLs, and your drawer setup is saved to your account forever. No account? It stays saved in your browser on that device. This started as a tool for my own drawers. Before I take it further, I want to hear from you: is this something you'd actually use? Your feedback decides whether Boxie grows in your direction or keeps following my own vision.
