What’s one boring task you still Google a tool for?

Sometimes I just want to compress an image, format JSON, or generate a QR code. I don’t want to write a prompt to do it.

That’s the idea behind BoringKit, which I’m building as a solo developer.

AI is useful when it genuinely improves the result. But for simple tasks with predictable outputs, adding AI can feel like overengineering. I’d rather open a tool, get the result, and move on.

BoringKit brings everyday utilities into one place.
I’ll keep adding useful tools and improving the ones already there, with better output quality and fewer frustrating steps.
Having more tools means nothing if the one you need doesn’t do its job well.
