What’s one boring task you still Google a tool for?

Hey makers

Sometimes I just want to compress an image, format JSON, or generate a QR code. I don t want to write a prompt to do it.

That s the idea behind BoringKit, which I m building as a solo developer.

AI is useful when it genuinely improves the result. But for simple tasks with predictable outputs, adding AI can feel like overengineering. I d rather open a tool, get the result, and move on.

When a tiny task needs a whole app

I've been quietly building something around a simple frustration: a tiny task can turn into another app, another account, another upload, another subscription, or another AI workflow.

The direction is to make boring everyday tasks simpler and faster in one place. It started small, but the idea is growing. I'm keeping the name under wraps for now.
