Bringing Bookivo to Product Hunt on Aug 15 — Africa's first social book publishing platform

Hey everyone,

I'm Abiodun, founder of Bookivo. We've been live since March 2026, and on August 15th we're bringing Bookivo to Product Hunt for the first time.

A quick bit of context: most self-publishing platforms are storefronts. List a book, hope someone finds it. Bookivo is built as a social network first. Authors build a following through a feed, connect directly with readers, and readers can subscribe to the authors they love. On top of that, authors publish e-books, paperbacks, and hardcovers, keep up to 90% of their royalties, and sell in Naira, Dollars, Pounds, and Euros.

In five months, we've grown to over 360 users and 95+ published books, with readers and authors now in 11 countries.
