I'm the founder of Bookivo, Africa's first social publishing platform. Most self-publishing platforms are storefronts. Bookivo is a social network first: authors build a following through a feed, connect directly with readers, and grow an audience the way they would on any social platform, not just list a book and hope someone finds it. Authors also publish e-books, paperbacks, and hardcovers, keep up to 90% of their royalties, and sell in Naira, Dollars, Pounds, and Euros. With 7+ years working alongside African authors, I built Bookivo to solve the problems I kept seeing firsthand. My goal: make publishing in Africa feel like an opportunity, not a compromise. Always happy to connect with founders, writers, and builders.
