I watch a lot of football, and during a tournament I'd have a browser tab open all day just to glance at scores between meetings. It bugged me. I wanted the score to just be there, in the corner of my screen, the way the clock is. So I built Bola Bar. It lives in your Mac menu bar and shows the live score the second a match kicks off, or a countdown to the next game when nothing's on. Left-click opens the full schedule, right-click is settings, and that's genuinely the whole app. No dock icon, no notifications, nothing to manage. Three things I'm proud of: It's truly quiet.
