My brother and I built Blunt because we kept asking "what do people actually think about (x)?" and couldn't get a straight answer. There is no hub for global opinion on everything. Reviews are gamed. Social media is noise. Polls are slow and biased. The thesis is simple: value is defined by what people say. So we built a way to measure it. Blunt gives anything searched a score from 0–100 (companies, people, products, ideas, etc) by running a sentiment analysis engine against real-time web data, then fusing that with user scores input within the platform.
