Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Žiga, an independent developer, and Bluestodon started as a tool I originally built for myself. I recently started to more regularly post to both Bluesky and Mastodon and found myself repeatedly checking character limits, manually splitting threads, and maintaining separate versions of the same post. Bluestodon solves that workflow. Write once and the app automatically: - Splits content into platform-appropriate threads - Shows side-by-side Bluesky and Mastodon previews - Supports images, videos, GIFs and alt text - Lets you customize content per platform - Saves drafts and manages multiple accounts - Posts to either network or both One thing worth highlighting: Bluestodon is intentionally not a social client. There are already great apps for browsing timelines and reading content. Bluestodon focuses exclusively on publishing and cross-posting workflows. The app is available for free on macOS, iPhone, and iPad. I'd love to hear how people currently handle posting across multiple social platforms and what features would make that easier.
