Will Blooou Support Custom AI Portfolios?

It would be great if users could create portfolios based on themes rather than just individual stocks. For example, an "AI Infrastructure" portfolio could automatically include semiconductor companies, networking firms, and cloud providers, with AI-generated explanations whenever the portfolio composition changes. It will be like your own stock portfolio without any expenses. Try it out and see if your feelings were correct!

Compare AI Opinions Across Companies

One feature I think would make Blooou even more useful is the ability to compare multiple companies in a single AI conversation instead of only focusing on one at a time.

For example, imagine asking:

  • Why does the AI currently prefer Micron over SK hynix?

  • Which company has stronger long-term growth potential: AMD or NVIDIA?

  • How does TSMC compare with Intel in terms of manufacturing leadership?

Instead of opening several tabs and piecing the information together yourself, Blooou could provide a side-by-side comparison covering financial performance, valuation, competitive advantages, recent news, risks, analyst sentiment, and future opportunities. It could also explain why one company appears stronger than another based on current information rather than simply listing statistics.

Would It Be Nice to Have Instant Financial Term Explanations?

Just a thought I had while using Blooou.

Would it be nice if financial terms automatically came with simple AI explanations? Many users, especially those who are newer to investing, come across terms like EBITDA, PEG ratio, free cash flow, operating margin, or enterprise value without fully understanding what they mean.

Instead of opening another website or searching Google, users could simply click or hover over the term and receive a short explanation in plain English, along with why that metric matters for evaluating a company. Even experienced investors could benefit from quick reminders without interrupting their research.

It feels like a small feature, but it could make learning about investing much smoother and help people build confidence while exploring companies.

Would It Be Nice if Blooou notified Earnings releases?

Here's another feature idea that I think could make Blooou even more valuable.

Would it be nice if, after every earnings report, Blooou automatically generated a short AI summary of the earnings call? Instead of reading a transcript that can be dozens of pages long or listening to an hour-long recording, users could get a concise overview in just a minute or two.

The summary could explain what management was most optimistic about, what concerns they addressed, whether guidance changed, how analysts reacted, and which comments were likely to influence the stock price. It could even highlight direct quotes that matter most and explain them in simple language.

For many investors, earnings season is one of the busiest times of the year, and this feature could make it much easier to stay informed without spending hours reading transcripts.

Personalized "What Did I Miss?" Daily Briefing

One feature I'd love to see on Blooou is a personalized daily market briefing based entirely on the companies each user actually follows.

Instead of browsing through dozens of news articles, users could open Blooou each morning and immediately see a summary of everything important that happened since they last checked in. The AI could highlight major headlines, earnings reports, analyst upgrades and downgrades, insider buying or selling, unusual stock movements, product announcements, mergers, regulatory developments, and any other events that might affect companies on the user's watchlist.

Rather than simply listing news, the AI could also explain why each story matters and estimate how significant its impact might be. This would help users quickly separate genuinely important developments from everyday market noise.

A feature like this could save investors a huge amount of time while making it easier to stay informed and never feel like they've missed an important event. For people who can't constantly monitor the market throughout the day, it could become one of the most valuable parts of the platform.

blooou - An exam tool

Blooou is a Pearson Edexcel International GCSE learning platform built directly from the real specification, not a generic study guide. Each subject follows the same structure: the actual spec, a numbered skill tree quiz styled after Dr Frost with genuinely non-repeating questions, and a real-world simulator, for Economics that's blooou Finance, a live US stock tool. Teachers create classes, assign locked-difficulty homework, and track completion live. Solo built, one subject deep at a time.
