As a creative with a deep interest in code-generated artworks, my biggest pain point when diving into this world was the sheer lack of accessible tools for experimentation. If you look at traditional VFX or CG, there is a plethora of tools to explore and find your best fit. But creative coding and generative art is still a relatively niche field. You usually have to choose between learning complex programming languages or paying for highly expensive, enterprise-level subscriptions. I wanted to change that. I built Blobit as a hobbyist-grade, node-based software to help creatives like me explore and experiment with code art effortlessly.
