Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Sanidhya, the maker of BiteAI. The idea came from a pretty simple frustration: I had no clue how much I was actually spending on food delivery and quick-commerce apps. Like many people living away from home, I use Swiggy, Zomato, Blinkit, and Zepto almost every day. The data was there, but it was spread across multiple apps and hundreds of orders, making it impossible to see the bigger picture. I wanted answers to questions like: • Which restaurant gets the most money from me? • How much do I spend on late-night orders? • How much am I paying in delivery and convenience fees? • What habits are quietly draining my wallet? So I built BiteAI. BiteAI consolidates your order history and turns it into AI-powered insights, spending analytics, and personalized roasts that make financial awareness a little more entertaining. One of my favorite insights from my own data was: "You've ordered from the same restaurant 47 times. At this point, they know you better than some of your friends." This project was especially meaningful because I'm not a traditional software engineer. I built it using modern AI-assisted development tools, focusing on the product, user experience, and privacy aspects of the problem. Does it actually link up securely with Swiggy and Zomato accounts, or do I have to upload CSVs manually? Curious how that part works before signing up.

 Good question! You don't need to upload any CSVs manually.

BiteAI uses a Chrome extension that works with your existing logged-in sessions on platforms like Swiggy, Zomato, Blinkit, and Zepto. If you're already logged in on your browser, the extension can fetch your order history and sync it to BiteAI in a few clicks.

The goal was to make the process as seamless as possible without asking users to manually export data every time. 🙂

how does it actually pull the data from swiggy or zomato, do you connect bank statements or does the app have some kind of official integration with them?

 Neither, actually.

BiteAI doesn't connect to your bank account, and it doesn't currently use official integrations with Swiggy or Zomato.

Instead, it uses a Chrome extension that works with your existing logged-in browser session. If you're already logged into those platforms on Chrome, the extension can access your order history and sync it to BiteAI. No passwords are entered into BiteAI, and there's no need to upload bank statements or CSVs.

The idea was to make it easy to analyze your spending across platforms while keeping the setup process simple and avoiding access to your banking data.
