BIMCamel is built for the people who get sent an IFC at 7pm: solo architects and engineers, small studios, and the BIM coordinator who is also the drafter. BIMCamel is a free set of online BIM tools that run in your browser. Open an IFC model, validate it against IDS, run clash detection, clean it, merge or split it, and convert it to glTF, Excel, DXF or COBie.

I kept hitting the same wall as a BIM user, not as a vendor: traditional desktop BIM tools are excellent, but they're Windows applications behind per-seat licenses — a shape that made sense when BIM lived entirely on workstations. It stopped making sense the moment a design team went cross-OS, a contractor wanted to check a model from a tablet on site, and validation rules ended up living in a Python script that only one person could run. There was no way to hand someone an IFC and have them just look at it — no license, no install, no waiting on IT. BIMCamel started as the tool I wanted for that.
