Best API - OpenAI-compatible API workflow, 25% lower cost

I built this because I kept seeing the same pattern with smaller AI products: a lot of teams don’t actually want a full multi-model platform, routing layer, or enterprise AI stack. They already know the OpenAI API workflow. What they want is something much simpler: * lower API cost * minimal migration * a familiar developer workflow * less code to change So Best API is intentionally narrow in v1: * OpenAI-compatible * focused on minimal migration * built for indie developers, early AI startups, and content-heavy / low-sensitivity apps What it is not: * not a multi-model gateway * not an enterprise governance/security platform * not built for highly regulated workloads If you already use the OpenAI format, the goal is to make switching feel straightforward while improving unit economics.
