Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Celine, the maker of BeenThere. The idea came from a simple problem. Over the years I saved hundreds of places in Google Maps — restaurants, cafes, travel spots — but eventually my saved list became so long that I rarely revisited it. After a family trip to Costa Rica, friends asked me to share my itinerary and I realized there wasn’t a simple way to turn travel history into something visual and shareable. So I built BeenThere. It helps you turn your Google Maps saved places into: 🗺 curated travel lists 📍 map visualizations 🎨 watercolor-style travel posters for sharing You can import places via links, screenshots, or Google Takeout data. One fun part of this project: I come from a non-technical product background, and I built this using AI coding tools and a lot of experimentation.
