How do you pull yourself out of "flow state" before a meeting?

by

Hey everyone!
I’m getting ready to launch BE READY (an alarm app specifically built to give you buffer time to prepare before next meeting).

I built it because I often get hyper-focused on whatever I am working on and I was constantly joining calls completely unprepared—my brain was still stuck on whatever I was working on before the meeting even after the Zoom link connected. I needed a way to force myself to pause and switch contexts so I am really ready for the meeting.

I’m curious about your workflows: how do you manage the context-switch before a meeting starts? Do you set manual alarms? Do you just rely on the standard 10-minute calendar notification (even though it's easy to be suppressed by Silent or Do not Disturb modes)?

Would love to hear how other builders force themselves to pause and get prepared for meetings.
