Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Jeffrey, the solo dev behind BaseVault. In Clash of Clans two questions decide whether you win a war: what base do I put up, and how do I break theirs. The answers exist — top creators publish them constantly — but they're scattered across YouTube descriptions, base-link sites and clan chat, and half of what you find is two metas out of date. The one good base someone drops in clan chat is gone by tomorrow's scroll. BaseVault does two things about that. A daily feed of the war and trophy bases and attack armies top creators are actually sharing right now, rendered as clean snapshots, filtered to your Town Hall, and one tap to import into the game — no copying 200-character base codes by hand. And the Vault: a private, code-gated library where a clan keeps its go-to bases and armies, with notes like "use vs maxed TH16" and the strategy video attached. Your leader pastes one code in clan chat and the whole clan has the same set. Three decisions this crowd might actually want to argue with me about: 1. No accounts. Anywhere. There is no sign-up, no login, no email, no password reset. Vault membership is a code plus a key held on your device — the code is the auth. It made distribution nearly free (a code pasted in clan chat installs the app for thirty people) and made everything else harder: rotation, revoking a member, and "I got a new phone" all had to be designed instead of delegated to a login screen. I'd make the same call again, but it was not the cheap option. 2. AI that charges by the report, not by the month. You can point it at any base — including a screenshot of your own village, not just bases from the feed — and get back where it's weak and how it's meant to be attacked, or an attack plan, or a read on what shuts down a given army. Each report costs me real inference money, so it's credit packs rather than a subscription: you see the price before you spend, credits never expire, and nothing else in the app needs them. A complete sample report ships inside the app — works offline, no account, before you pay anything — because "is this AI slop?" is a fair question and the honest answer is to let you read one and decide. 3. Twelve languages that switch live. Clash is global and the top-grossing markets are not English-speaking. The in-app language switch changes the whole UI instantly, no relaunch — which sounds trivial and absolutely is not once system-rendered strings like permission dialogs are involved. On money, plainly: the daily feed and one Vault are free, and the free tier has ads. Pro ($15.99 lifetime, or $5.99/year) removes ads and unlocks up to 15 Vaults, which is really for people running feeder clans. AI credits are separate (20 for $2.99). No energy timers, no paywalled bases. What I'd genuinely like your read on: does a shared code feel like enough security for a private group, or would you want a login? And does metering AI as credit packs read as fair, or as nickel-and-diming next to a flat subscription? Those two are still live arguments in my head. iOS: Android: Not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Supercell. Bases and armies are independently rendered snapshots of publicly shared content and link back to the original creators.
