Basedash Models - Define it once. Query it like a table.

Basedash Models is a semantic workspace of reusable, governed SQL for core business concepts—customers, orders, active accounts—so everyone works from the same trusted definition. Each model has dedicated views for details, columns, measures, and segments, plus synonyms, row grain, relationships, and usage guidance the assistant reads when it answers. Reference a model in SQL like a table: select * from models.customers. Define it once. Query it like a table.

Hey everyone, Max here from Basedash. Today we're launching Models: a semantic workspace of reusable, governed SQL for the concepts your company actually runs on. Definitions grew up. Models now live as a top-level workspace under Data. A model captures customers, orders, or active accounts once, with measures, segments, relationships, synonyms, and usage guidance attached. You query it like a table—"select * from models.customers"—and the assistant reads that same context when it writes SQL. We've been running Northstar on this for our own customers, orders, and active-account definitions. Questions that used to spawn three competing counts now hit one model, and the assistant reaches for the same measures and filters the team already agreed on. The Product Hunt community gets an extra week on their trial this week. Happy to answer anything.
