Hello Product Hunters! My name is Monica and I'm the maker of Barbell Helper. I built this app because I wanted the convenience of having a weight plate calculator on my Apple Watch. I don't use my iPhone in the gym because I don't like carrying it around with me. No pockets = No phone. I thought it would be fun to create my own app! I've wanted to create an app for a while and this seemed like a good first project. I started working on it before the quarantine. I wasn't sure whether to pursue it or not once everything shut down. But I decided to continue on. I figured the gyms will reopen one day. Now, I am happy to have released my first app to the App Store! Features: - Calculator keypad to enter the weight you want to lift. - If the weight entered is not valid then it will display the two closest weights for you to choose from. - Reverse Calculator to figure out the total weight of a barbell and the weight plates on it. Add or remove a weight plate with the tap of a button. - Option to use Olympic collars which add 5kg/11lbs to the barbell weight. - Manage your barbell inventory by setting your favorite bar and adding/deleting barbells. - Set the number of weight plates you have for each denomination. - Choose weight plate colors to make them easy to identify. - Separate inventories for kilo and pound weight plates and barbells - Supports the following weight denominations: - kg: 0.125, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1.0, 1.25, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 5.0, 7.5, 10, 15, 20, 25 - lb: 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1.0, 1.25, 1.5, 2.5, 5.0, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15, 20, 25, 35, 45, 55, 100 Let me know what you think!
