Product Hunt! 👋 I built Banana Reader because I was tired of text-to-speech apps that couldn't handle my older text files (especially those with encoding issues like Mojibake) and required internet access for everything. Banana Reader is designed to be the most robust local text player for iOS: 🛠 It fixes broken files: If you have old text files that show up as random symbols (garbled text), my custom encoding engine attempts to repair them automatically. 📝 It cleans bad formatting: If you read web novels or PDF exports, you know the pain of broken line breaks.
