Balance - Expense Tracker & Money Manager

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built Balance because every expense tracker I tried made me choose between two bad options: apps that read all my SMS and bank data (creepy), or spreadsheets I'd abandon after a week (tedious). I wanted something that respected my privacy and was fast enough that I'd actually stick with it. So Balance is: Private by default - no bank linking, no SMS permissions. Your data stays yours. Fast - log an expense in a couple of taps. Accounts, recurring bills, and analytics all in one place. Built for real life in India - UPI-friendly, works offline, no ads. The hardest part was resisting feature creep. Early on I kept adding things, but every time I did, the app got slower to use and I stopped opening it. So I ripped most of it out and optimized for one thing: understanding where your money goes in under 10 seconds a day.
