BackupViz - Design and Understand Your Backup Strategy Visually

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I built Backup Visualizer because I kept running into the same problem: backups technically existed, but I couldn’t easily *see* or *understand* how data was really protected across servers, VMs, containers, and backup targets. Backup Visualizer lets you model your backup architecture visually using a node-based canvas inspired by Node-RED and n8n. You can drag elements into containers, draw backup flows by pulling wires, and backup copies are created automatically. Backup levels are calculated dynamically so you instantly see how well your data is protected — or where it isn’t. It’s especially designed for sysadmins, homelab users, and anyone dealing with complex backup or replication setups who wants clarity instead of diagrams made in random tools.
