What It Does: ✅ Detects your location automatically ✅ Instantly displays available hotels near you on a map ✅ Click a hotel marker to see prices, ratings, reviews & booking links ✅ No need to enter dates or guest details—just instant results ✅ Optional price filtering for more control Tech Stack: Backend: Django, Amadeus API (real-time availability), Google Places API (reviews) Frontend: MapTiler with custom markers, JavaScript Optimization: Clustering for better map performance, caching for speed Challenges & Lessons Learned: This was my first project before I even learned Django, so I was learning as I built it. I started with zero JavaScript knowledge, so I had to pick it up along the way.
