What should AI coding tools optimize for: speed or ownership?

Most AI coding tools are judged by how fast they can generate a demo.But I think the bigger question is what happens after the demo.

Can you edit the code?
Can you understand the structure?
Can you add real backend logic, roles, permissions, databases, and deployment?
Can you keep building if the platform changes pricing or limits?

This is the problem we’re thinking about with AutoCoder.cc: not just generating screens, but helping builders create full-stack products they can actually control and grow.
