I started building Auditbly because I kept running into the same problem as a web developer. Every site I worked on had small but important SEO, performance, or accessibility issues that clients didn’t understand. Running manual audits was time-consuming and repetitive, and I wanted a way to make the insights clear and actionable for anyone, not just developers. As I worked on Auditbly, I realized the biggest value wasn’t just catching issues, but presenting them in a way that people could actually fix. That led to prioritizing actionable recommendations, real-time monitoring, and a free scan option so anyone can see what’s going on with their site immediately. The process evolved from something I used personally for client work into a tool that anyone can use to improve usability, speed, and search rankings without needing a complicated setup.

Great idea. What’s the long-term vision you’re aiming for?

@beaconbix Appreciate that, JP! Long-term, I want Auditbly to give every website owner the confidence and clarity developers have. Not everyone speaks ‘SEO’ or ‘Core Web Vitals’, so the vision is to translate complex web issues into simple, fixable actions, and eventually help people improve their sites automatically.

If someone can run a scan and immediately understand what matters and how to fix it, that’s success.

@ro_heoobdfer1 That’s a strong north star. Curious though, are you planning to stay as a guidance tool or eventually automate the fixes so users never touch the technical side at all?

@beaconbix We’re intentionally not aiming to fully automate every fix, because real accessibility fixes require direct access to the codebase. That can’t be safely “patched” from the outside.

Things like browser overlays and “instant accessibility” extensions try to fix things after the page loads, but they don’t actually repair the underlying issues. They often break screen readers, conflict with keyboard navigation, and give a false sense of compliance while the real problems remain.

So instead of trying to "fix" everything automatically, we focus on accurate detection and clear guidance, so a maintainer can make real, permanent improvements in their product.

Tried the audit, loved the direct insights and actionable feedback. Curious to see where this will go as I think it has potential in being a a goto tool to quickly help discover issues on websites.

Any idea on what the pricing will be? I'm looking into possibly use it while developing my websites for my clients (mostly small businesses).

@johan23 Thanks for giving the audit a try! Really glad the direct insights were useful, Auditbly aims to be just that tool you need if you’re building sites for online businesses: quickly surface the hidden accessibility, SEO and performance issues that are easy to miss during development.

Pricing is still being finalized, but the idea is simple:
a free tier for quick checks, an affordable creator plan, and a team option for heavier use.
