Atlas started because I wanted to build something that didn't exist.
While working on robotics and autonomous systems, I kept feeling like there was a missing layer between AI and hardware.
Most tools help you control machines. I want Atlas to help machines make decisions.
It's still early and there is a lot left to build, but I think autonomous systems are going to become a huge part of the future, and someone needs to build the software foundation for them.
