Àsìkò - Scan a photo (printed or digital). Watch the memory play.

by
Àsìkò encodes any printed photo with a video. The print itself is completely unchanged. Most photos end up disconnected from the videos that capture the same moment. Àsìkò permanently links the two. A wedding photo that plays the first dance. A newborn print that plays the moment they arrived. Works on any photo from any printer. Viewing is free. Creators encode paths through a web dashboard. Viewers scan and watch instantly from any phone camera.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Ade, the founder of Àsìkò. The problem I kept thinking about: we take more photos and videos than ever, but they live in completely separate places. The printed photo goes on the wall. The video stays buried in a phone camera roll. Neither knows the other exists. The moment that inspired this was simple. Someone prints a wedding photo. Somewhere on their phone is the video of that exact moment. The two will never meet unless someone manually searches for it and shares it. Most of the time they never do. Àsìkò fixes that permanently through path encoding. A path is a printed photo linked to one or more videos. The print and its videos are encoded together — anyone who scans that photo, anywhere, forever, watches the videos play in sequence. The physical and the digital become one thing. What makes path encoding powerful is that a single print can hold an entire story. A holiday photo that plays the moment you arrived, the sunset on day three, and the last evening before you left. All encoded into one unchanged print. I built this because I believe printed photos deserve to be more than static objects. Every print has a story behind it. Àsìkò lets that story live inside the print itself. Would love to hear your thoughts and answer any questions.
