👋 Hi Product Hunt!
I’m Richard, founder of ArteraQ.
ArteraQ started from a problem I kept seeing in the art world: collectors, galleries, and advisors managing valuable collections with a mix of spreadsheets, folders, email attachments, and paper records.
When someone needs to answer questions like:
* What do I own?
* Where is it located?
* What did I pay for it?
* Is it insured?
* Where’s the invoice, COA, or appraisal?
* Can I quickly share this information with my spouse, advisor, or insurer?
The answers are often scattered across multiple places.
Interestingly, ArteraQ wasn’t originally built for collectors. It started as a gallery management tool to help galleries manage inventory and artist payouts. Through dozens of conversations with gallery owners, advisors, and collectors, I discovered that collection management and documentation were often bigger pain points than sales.
So I pivoted.
Today, ArteraQ helps collectors:
✅ Catalog artworks
✅ Organize provenance and documents
✅ Track locations and acquisitions
✅ Generate insurance and estate reports
✅ Search and filter collections instantly
✅ Reduce reliance on spreadsheets
One feature I’m especially excited about is the AI-powered artwork analysis, which can help generate artwork metadata and tags from an image to speed up cataloging.
ArteraQ is currently in early access. If you’d like to try it, leave a comment and I’ll send you a free invite code. I’m actively looking for feedback from collectors, galleries, and advisors managing artwork inventories today
What is your current system for tracking your collection today?
Thanks for checking it out! 🙏
— Richard
