Arazio - Convert any file without leaving Finder

by
Every converter makes you open it, import the file, pick a format and find the output. Arazio removes all four steps. Pick a file up in Finder, hold Shift, and a radial menu appears around your cursor showing only the formats that file can actually become. Release toward one and the converted file lands next to the original. 283 conversions, 43 formats, 14 tools. Everything runs on your Mac — the conversion engines contain no networking code at all, enforced by a test that fails the build.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Ritesh, and I built Arazio because I kept doing the same silly dance: open a converter, import a file, pick a format, hunt for where it saved the output. Four steps to do one thing. Arazio deletes all four. You pick a file up in Finder, hold Shift, and a radial menu appears around your cursor showing only the formats that file can actually become — a PNG offers image formats, a MOV offers video. Release toward one and the converted file lands in the same folder, next to the original. Hold Option instead and you get tools: compress, crop, trim, split, merge, extract audio. Everything runs on your machine. Not as a promise: the conversion engines contain no networking code at all, and a test fails the build if a networking symbol appears in them. Nothing you convert is ever uploaded. Apple silicon, macOS 13+, under 9 MB, notarized. It's had six releases in four days, almost all of them fixing things real people hit — a crash on Macs that weren't mine, external drives reporting as full, a trim that could only cut on keyframes. I'll be here all day. What would make this useful to you? And if there's a conversion you need that I don't do yet, tell me — that list is the roadmap.

I like the UX you have created in . And a one-off purchase is always a good thing in my opinion. Best of luck with the launch.

 Thank you.
