Hi, my name is Paul and I am incredibly excited to be launching my first ever product into Open BETA. I started working on Apilicious during Covid, it was something I had been thinking about ever since hearing about a Swagger specification. The idea was built out of curiosity, “Why can’t I find a tool that just takes the specification and run some tests?” The answer to that was simple - it’s not that easy! But, I took on the challenges and believe I’ve solved most of them. What differentiates Apilicious from similar tools is the way that tests are built. Instead of simply using an Open API specification like code-completion, the tests are generated by adding “examples” to your specification; I feel this leads to an entirely different experience, and makes the service unique. The framework has been in Closed BETA for some time now - it has been tested against dozens of APIs and I believe most of the infinite complexities have been ironed out. I hope you find it as useful as I have! Key features - Save time, effort, and money by re-using an Open API specification to build and run tests - Automated reporting - Reports can be run regular (eg. Hourly) - Personalised dashboards - Build powerful visual dashboards to build permanent insights into your API’s behaviour - Notifications - Receive notifications via. Email or Slack every time a report runs - Dynamic examples - Build tests using data that your API provides, at run-time - Handles authorisation - If it’s defined in your specification, it can be authorised by adding credentials - Highly configurable - Can be used for test performance monitoring (See https://apilicious.com/guides/su...) - Functional testing - Does your API do what your specification says it does? - Pipeline integration - Webhooks, Github events, and our own API specification Use-cases - Testing - Each request made has a set of assertions applied to it - Monitoring - Automated reporting and notifications - Debugging - Each request logs detailed information about the request and response - Synthetic traffic/Cache warming - Requests naturally travel deep into your API Goals Open BETA is focused on feedback and slowly scaling. More information can be found on the roadmap (https://apilicious.com/roadmap) Pricing Use the free package to figure out if Apilicious works for you. New accounts are capped during Open BETA. Free - 400 tests per month, 50 tests per report $15/mo - 3000 tests per month, 100 tests per report $90/mo - 23,000 tests per month, 2,000 tests per report $530/mo - 176,000 tests per month, 10,000 tests per report Providing feedback! If you have any questions that you don't think the website has answered, please get in touch! Hotjar is our tool of choice for feedback from within the application, itself. If you're having particular trouble setting up a suite, I am open to personally guiding you through the journey over video.

This application is really cool, I liked it. I just had some fun with it running an API-spec, I only needed to define a few examples and it has done all the hard work providing some graphs with the results, which are great. Another plus is the way we can filter results as simply as writing some simple SQL queries. Keep it up Apilicious.
