We love what Ankit and Abhinav started at Postman. Yet, our primary objective was how do we bring intelligence in the API development lifecycle that focuses on Design First API approach. Modern API lifecycle will be driven by Product managers, innovators and creators who are not developers and don't have PhD in JSON or YAML. Smartbear has pioneered SOAP and SOAP based tests. Yet, we believe in single platform for mock, test, test data, performance tests, security tests, monitoring, etc. Not one product for each. Hence Conektto.

@coder_with_a_bushido The API world is moving to a value play over 2 applications talking to each other. The rise of the citizen developer demands a low-code approach that does not force technical pre-requisite and that is where conektto is trying to crave a differentiator over existing solutions.

Our point of view: Postman and Swagger are great platforms for web 2.0 and last 2 decades of what we call as hamster wheel of doing something over and over. Our vision is to build APIs in minutes. This is a huge shift from building API to generating API automatically. The complexity lies in business logic, simplicity, design thinking. Hence Conektto, Design First API development platform.
