Hey PHers! I made this thing I descriptively call Anxiety Journal for myself and I want to share it. 🚩Problem Anxiety takes over and everything goes out the window. We don’t even realize we have anxiety, maybe until days later. When we notice it, the idea of self-reflection feels daunting—we can’t recall the right questions to ask ourselves, or our minds spiral into rumination. Then the cycle repeats itself. 🧠Solution This journal encourages you to build a habit of reflecting on your recent experiences with anxiety through specific, guided prompts. By regularly examining the thoughts and circumstances that trigger your anxiety, you’ll develop a deeper understanding and quicker recognition of these moments. Just as meditation helps you refocus on your breath when thoughts arise, our journal’s somatic and CBT prompts will help you return to a balanced state of mind and body more quickly after feeling anxious. The more you come back into your body (🧘somatic prompts) and mind (🧠CBT prompts), the better you’ll become at managing your anxiety and finding calm amidst the chaos.
