We launch Tuesday. Honest question: what would make you trust an "AI visibility" score?
AnswerRank checks whether ChatGPT, Perplexity and other assistants actually recommend your business when buyers ask — and generates the fixes (llms.txt, JSON-LD, robots.txt rules) when they don't. We go live here on Tuesday, Sep 8.
Before that, I'd love a sanity check from this community on the scoring itself. Skeptical take we keep hearing: "any tool can print a number — why should I believe 40/100 means anything?" Our current answer: every score comes with receipts — the exact prompts asked, the engines' verbatim answers, and which competitors got named instead of you. You can re-run the same prompts yourself in ChatGPT and compare.
What else would you want to see before trusting a score like that? Confidence intervals across re-runs? Regional variation? Something else?
Free check (no signup) is live at answerrank.me if you want to poke at it before launch day. Brutal feedback welcome — there's still time to fix things before Tuesday.
