What are the benefits of this unofficial Anki app over the official one? I do like the look of this one better, but that's the only benefit I can currently see.

@crawmanbob I guess this is just a copycat product? It seems there is no connection between the companies / apps other than this one is using „Anki“ word too. I do not like this.

@crawmanbob @tombarys This one is free and the offial app is 25$ in the app store.Also this is a very good app, didn't use the official one.

Terrible syncing across devices. Upgraded to unlimited and the cards I made wouldn't sync propoerly across iOS, Windows and Android. Spent more time trying to fix this rather than helping my kid study. Also tried reaching out to tech support via email and website but no response for days.

A good alternative to this app is https://www.hackchinese.com/. It is a browser app with flashcards and spaced repetition. Only works for learning Chinese, learning other languages is not supported.
