AnchorVine - AI business support platform to help you grow your business

by
Most LLMs and AI services require you to know what to ask - which is a problem when you don't know what you don't know! AnchorVine is built differently. It asks you the questions, and guides you to where you need your business to be. AnchorVine runs a free business diagnostic, finds the gaps holding you back, and turns them into a clear plan of what to do next — with step-by-step support provided by the AnchorVine Assistant as you work through each task.

Each year, more than 5 million new business applications are filed in the United States, and over 300,000 in the UK. Many of those businesses do not stall because the idea was weak. They stall because the path forward is unclear. Advice is easy to find. AI can generate answers in seconds. But neither guarantees progress. What founders and SMEs often need is a way to work out what matters most, what is getting in the way, what to do next and how to execute it. AnchorVine was built around that gap. The goal is not to generate more noise. It is to create clarity, structure, and momentum.

@graham_downs This resonates deeply. The noise problem is real—founders are drowning in generic advice and AI-generated frameworks that don't account for their specific constraints. The clarity angle you're hitting on is where the real value is, and it sounds like AnchorVine is built to cut through that by helping people prioritize what actually matters for their situation.

Thanks Saul, that's exactly right.

When we tell people about the product one response we often get is "why don't I just use ChatGPT?" Our answer is because generic LLMs have two main issues:

1) Drift - they will lead you astray

2) Generic output - by the nature of how LLMs work they gravitate to the "most obvious" answer.

Neither is good when you're a business trying to carve out a niche in the market.

So we made AnchorVine in a way where it operates under the constraints of each unique business, and leads the conversation rather waiting to be prompted - this makes it genuinely useful for use as a business productivity tool as you make progress in a clear single direction.

@graham_downs  @richard_downs That drift and generic output problem hits hard when the data feeding the LLM is noisy or incomplete. FoxAPIs gives you a deterministic layer underneath—the /geo/citation-rate endpoint returns structured citation data for any business location, so you're not relying on an LLM to guess whether a listing is accurate. Pipe that into your product as a fact-checked foundation, and let AnchorVine build clarity on top of reliable signals instead of probabilistic guesses.
