Building a Better Way to Find Postnatal Care in Kerala 🇮🇳

I'm Raihan, the founder of Ammayum Kunjum.

Over the past few months, I've been building a platform that helps families discover and compare postnatal care centers across Kerala.

The problem became obvious while talking to new parents:

• There isn't a single place to compare postnatal care centers.

• Information is scattered across WhatsApp, Google Maps, and Facebook.

• Families often make expensive decisions with very little information.

• Comparing rooms, facilities, pricing, and reviews is difficult.

So we built a platform where parents can:

• Search postnatal care centers

• Compare rooms and facilities

• View photos and food menus

• Read verified reviews

• Contact centers directly

• Book services more easily

We're also giving care providers a simple dashboard to manage their listings and reach more families digitally.

What I've learned

Building a healthcare marketplace has been much harder than building the software itself.

Some of the biggest challenges have been:

• Verifying healthcare providers

• Maintaining accurate information

• Building trust with families

• Balancing marketplace growth between parents and care providers
