I've been working on this as a side project for ages but I finally got round to launching it recently (with a brief diversion via Ambient ScotRail Beats on the way). I wanted to build a beautiful, easy-to-use ambient soundscape mixer without logins or ads or in-app purchases or any of the other distracting stuff a lot of them have. If you really want to pay for something there's an ill-advised premium 'subscription' called Ambiphone Minus which gets you absolutely nothing extra. It's a web app, but the test version at test.ambiph.one is PWA-enabled if you prefer to have something on your home screen. The reaction has been great so far, and it's appeared on Show HN, The Economist's 'The Intelligence' podcast (at 17:30), BoingBoing, MentalFloss and others. I've got lots more planned for it, including adding sounds for DnD/tabletop RPGs, spatial audio, generative music and loads more. I hope you like it. I'd love to hear any suggestions for features or new sounds.
