Amazon Dash Button is a wireless device connected to your Amazon Prime account with the help of which you can place orders for your convenience. It is a specified button for you usual orders. Just press it and you have it ordered, especially if you don't want to think 24/7 for that and you just remember at the moment you need it.

I think this could be cool if there is some sort of password or fingerprint verification button on it.
Tried to do some digging and still can't tell if this is an early April Fool's joke or not, but it makes a lot of sense. This launch is awfully close to Amazon Home Services. If it's a joke, sounds like a really cool experiment to try haha hmmm....
This is amazing.
What a brilliant idea! There are wifi connected buttons available to make them do whatever you want, but this is a great execution. And its free for users (as brands will be paying for it, happily. )

Wasn't there an article recently about how Amazon would announce a new product (in this case AWS) when they haven't really built it out to see what the reception was?
Why would I want buttons all over my house? this sounds like a sub-optimal solution to the problem at hand.
note that there are 272 eligible products already. some serious BD work to make this happen.
The Dash Button and DRS are big plays into our homes and shopping behaviours. Great idea from Amazon with huge future potential. Wrote my thoughts about it here:
