I wanted something clean, fast, and focused on what pilots actually need—reliable METARs and TAFs, decoded into plain English, from airports worldwide. AltiMETAR is free and ad-free, with no logins or hidden paywalls. You can add your favourite airfields, customise their order, and check real-time weather with just a couple of taps. All the essentials are right there, and if you find it useful, there’s an optional tip jar to help support ongoing development. This is a passion project, shaped by real pilot feedback.
