AllRepos - A self-updating directory of open-source repos & AI tools

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built AllRepos because finding the right open-source tool is still weirdly hard — you end up digging through GitHub search, awesome-lists that haven't been updated in years, and blog posts written to sell you something. AllRepos is a directory that keeps itself up to date. It discovers new repos, writes a plain-English summary of each (what it does, how hard it is to set up, which paid SaaS it replaces), refreshes GitHub stats daily, and ranks everything by real popularity. It's automated end to end — no paid placement, no sponsored listings, and no ranking can be bought. A few things I think make it genuinely useful: 🔁 Open-source alternatives to the SaaS you actually pay for — Notion, Zendesk, Algolia, Calendly… ⚡ No-signup tools you can open and use in your browser right now ⚖️ Side-by-side X-vs-Y comparisons built from live data 🧩 "Repos for [platform]" hubs — Claude, MCP, Obsidian, Home Assistant… It's early and still filling out. I'd genuinely love feedback: what's missing, what's wrong, and which tools you'd want summarized next. 🙏
