Alfred is an AI personal assistant that lives in your WhatsApp. He manages your calendar, reads your email, sends you reminders, and gives you a morning briefing — all in one chat. Works with Google and Outlook.

Hey everyone! I'm Oli, the solo dev behind Alfred.
I built Alfred because I kept forgetting to do basic stuff. Chase invoices, cancel subscriptions, put things in my calendar. I tried every productivity app going and the pattern was always the same — I'd use it for two weeks and then stop opening it.
The realisation was that the app wasn't the problem. The channel was. I open WhatsApp 50 times a day. I open Todoist maybe twice. So I built an assistant that lives where I already am.
Here's what Alfred does:
Reminders — tell him once, he messages you on WhatsApp when it's due. Voice notes work too.
Calendar — say "I just booked flights" and he finds the confirmation in your email and creates the events.
Email — reads your inbox, drafts replies, chases refunds. All from WhatsApp.
Morning briefing — weather, calendar, tasks, inbox, birthdays, and custom topics. One message, every morning.
Memory — he remembers things about you and the people in your life. Dietary requirements, birthdays, preferences.
He works with both Google and Outlook. And yes, he calls you sir.
I've been using him every day for months and genuinely can't go back. The thing people love most is the simplest feature — reminders. A WhatsApp message is just harder to ignore than a notification.
I'm actively building based on user feedback so I'd love to hear what you think. What would you want an AI butler to do? What's missing? What's the first thing you'd try?
Happy to answer any questions here.
