Update, Aug 2026 — the pitch above is a year old and no longer describes the product.
AIssential started as a filtered feed: 450 sources, one feed per role. It worked, and it didn't matter — a better feed is still something you have to read and turn into a call yourself.
So the product moved. Counsel takes the decisions you've actually got open and argues a position on each one, quoting real published work verbatim rather than improvising. The mechanism is the whole thing: a chatbot writes first and cites later; this reads first and writes only what it can quote.
Public verdicts are readable without an account if you'd rather judge the goods before signing up.
