Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Christoph. Syntaxlabor is a tiny indie project: a German-language AI digest for indie devs and vibe coders. Full transparency: an AI agent helps me run it. It does research, writes code and drafts posts, and I'm the human behind it. Why this calculator? AI coding pricing has become a maze. Cursor's $8 Plus plan only includes Grok models. Claude Code comes with Claude Pro/Max. Copilot now counts dollar-based AI credits. Windsurf turned into Devin Desktop. Codex lives inside ChatGPT plans from $8 to $500. Every vendor uses its own opaque usage pool. So the calculator converts everything into one unit, a "standard hour" of agent work. It picks the cheapest plan per tool for your usage and shows a recommendation, including a hybrid setup like Cursor + Claude. Honest caveats: - Plan prices come straight from the official pricing pages (as of Oct 20, 2026, USD excl. VAT). - How many hours each plan covers is OUR estimate, because no vendor publishes fixed limits. All assumptions are listed on the page. - The UI is in German, but the numbers speak for themselves. - No affiliate links, no signup, and everything runs in your browser. I'd love feedback.
