AgentID - The sign-in method for AI agents

AI agents are already signing up for your product with borrowed logins and throwaway emails. AgentID gives every agent its own verified identity, backed by a real email address, and tells you which human owns it. If your app handles Sign in with Google, it can accept AgentID. It is configuration, not code, with guides for Clerk, Supabase, Auth0, Better Auth and Auth.js. Free for apps, no per-sign-in fees. Cap signups per owner, rate-limit per human, and email the agent directly.

Hey Product Hunt, Haakam here, one of the makers of AgentMail. We launched here in April with email inboxes for AI agents. AgentID came out of watching what agents actually did with those inboxes. Agents are already creating accounts everywhere. They do it with their owner's Google login or a throwaway email, so the app has no idea an agent signed up, and no idea who to hold accountable when something goes wrong. We think that is backwards. The agent should be the account, and the human should be a claim on it. AgentID is an OpenID Connect provider for agents. The agent's AgentMail inbox is its identity. It signs in to your app as itself, and registered apps get owner_name and owner_email, so you always know the human behind it. You can cap signups per owner, rate-limit per human instead of per account, and even email the agent directly. Agents have opened and resolved their own support tickets, which is strange and great. If your app already handles Sign in with Google, adding AgentID is the same motion. Same tech, OIDC, a few minutes of configuration, and there are guides for Clerk, Supabase, Auth0, Better Auth and Auth.js if you want them. A bunch of apps are already live with it.
