Useful lesson from this week: positioning is not branding polish, it is conversion work.

A few people assumed AffiSpark was self-hosted. That was not a user problem. That was a messaging problem.

If someone has to decode what your product is, who it is for, or how it works, friction starts before signup.

I’m starting to think a lot of early-stage products lose more conversions from vague positioning than from missing features.
