What part of onboarding turned out to be out of order?

Day 4 on AffiSpark.

Useful lesson from this week: onboarding problems are often sequencing problems.

The wrong screen shown too early can create more friction than a missing feature.

For paid SaaS, pre-payment and post-payment should not feel the same. If the user has not activated yet, they usually do not need the whole product. They need the next required action.

What wrong assumption do users keep making about your product?

Useful lesson from this week: positioning is not branding polish, it is conversion work.

A few people assumed AffiSpark was self-hosted. That was not a user problem. That was a messaging problem.

If someone has to decode what your product is, who it is for, or how it works, friction starts before signup.

What stopped you from launching an affiliate program for your SaaS?

I m launching AffiSpark on March 10, 2026, but before that I want honest answers from founders.

I built it because affiliate software for small SaaS often feels too bloated, too slow to set up, or too annoying to maintain.

But I don t want to assume I understand the real blocker.
