Day 29 building AffiSpark

I think founders treat force like a fix too often.

A CTA is weak, so we make it louder.

Pricing is weak, so we push it harder.

A prompt is weak, so we move it earlier.

Sometimes that works.

But I think the need for force is often evidence, not a solution.

If a step only works when you intensify it, the step may be reporting a weaker step upstream.

For AffiSpark, that could mean:

the paid ask is reporting weak proof before pricing

the walkthrough CTA is reporting weak momentum before the ask

the feedback prompt is reporting too many earlier withdrawals from trust

That changes the diagnosis.

My current rule: intensify last. First ask what the weak step is trying to report about the steps before it.

Founders: what step in your product kept asking for more force until you fixed what came before it?
