Day 18 building AffiSpark

byβ€’

No meaningful new feature shipped today.

A while ago, I would have called that a bad day.

I do not think that anymore.

Some of the highest-leverage product work ships nothing.

A lot of early progress is just less confusion:

paid entry vs blind entry,

skeptical feedback vs rejection,

conversion problem vs stage problem.

None of that looks dramatic in the git log, but it changes what gets built next.

More code on top of a muddy model just hardens the wrong assumptions.

My current rule: if I can describe the real problem more precisely than yesterday, that is still product progress.

1Founders: what is the most valuable progress you made that barely showed up in the commit history?
