Getting an AI answer vs. knowing what to do next

by

While building Aevric, I kept coming back to a problem:

Getting an answer isn't always the same as knowing what to do next.

You might already understand the facts, but still be unsure which option to choose, what trade-offs matter, how to structure a plan, or what your next move should actually be.

That's the problem we're exploring with Aevric.

We're building it to help people move through a process of understanding a situation, exploring options, weighing trade-offs, making a decision, and turning that decision into action.

There's much more capability behind Aevric, but for this early release we've deliberately narrowed the experience. I'd rather learn whether we're genuinely useful at one core problem before expanding everything.

So ahead of our launch, I'm curious:

When you use AI for a difficult decision or problem, where does it usually fall short for you?

Is it understanding your situation? Comparing options? Making the actual decision? Building a realistic plan? Or following through afterward?

I'm building Aevric as a solo founder, so answers here could genuinely influence what I work on next.
